Rock Tumbling Bloodstone – Process & Techniques

This is one in a series of Rock Tumbling “How-To” videos that I have been posting on YouTube. This video features me tumbling Bloodstone! This is a stone that is a mixture of deep green, red yellow and white. It takes its name from the red “blood spots” on the green stones. Bloodstone is Mohs hardness 7, so it is very durable in the tumbler. You will need to have some patience during the course stage to ensure that they have just the right shape and smoothness before you move them on to medium – Bloodstone is an Beginner to Intermediate level project.
