
Rotary Rock Tumbling Amethyst – Process & Techniques
This is one in a series of Rock Tumbling “How-To” videos that I have been posting on YouTube. This video features me tumbling Amethyst! Amethyst is one of the most popular tumbled gemstones due to its gorgeous deep purple color. There are very few purple stones, and Amethyst is easily accessible and affordable, so it’s the go-to stone in the purple family. Its Mohs hardness of 7 makes this a Beginner Level project.
